PREVENTATIVE
MAINTENANCE
Push
the
PIG.RATE
key
and
unit
will
display
“OCC=X”.
Load
the
unit
with
a
water
filled
LV.
set.
The
value
for
“X”
should
be
between
50
and
175.
Remove
the
set
from
the
unit.
Push
the
VOL.LIMIT
key,
the
unit
will
display
“AIR=X”.
Load
the
unit
with
an
empty
LV.
set.
The
value
for
“X”
should
be
less
than
5
(<5).
©
Remove
the
empty
set
from
the
unit
under
test.
Push
the
PIG.VOL
key,
unit
will
display
“ADC=X”.
The
value
of
“X”
should
be
0
or
1
(<
1).
Depress
the
RATE
key;
the
unit will
display
“MOT”.
In
approximately
two
minutes
a
number
will
appear.
This
number
should
match
the
MOT
Number
located
on
the
unit
calibration
label
within
20.
The
label
is
located
on
the
unit
bottom.
Exit
the
TEST
MODE
by
depressing
the
RUN/STOP
key.
Tum
unit
off
with
the
ON/OFF
key.
3.
ALARM
FUNCTIONS
AND
MEMORY
TEST
a.
With
the
unit
plugged
in
depress
ON/OFF,
Set
the
RATE
to
100
and
the
VOL.
LIMIT
to
500.
Turn
the
unit
off.
Turn
the
unit
back
on
again.
Unit
should
display
“RATE
100”.
Press
the
VOL.
LIMIT
key
and
verify
that
the
unit
displays
“VOL
500”.
Memory
is
working.
Load
a
water
filled
set
into
the
unit
and
depress
RUN/STOP
key.
Close
the
set
roller
clamp
at
a
distance
of 6”
to
12”
below
the
pump.
“CLR
OCCL”
alarm
shall
occur
within
30
seconds.
This
test
is
OPTIONAL
and
may
be
preformed
if
specific
occlusion
pressures
are
required
for
facility
protocol.

Gauge
Occlusion
Test
per
step
9.
Push
the
RUN/STOP
key
and
introduce
a
"/g"air
bubble
into 1.V.
line
above
the
pump.
With
the
unit
running,
a
“CLR
AIR”
alarm
shall
occur
as
the
complete
air
bubble
passes
in
front
of
the
AIR/OCCL
sensor.
While
the
pump
is
running,
unplug
it
from
the
AC
outlet.
The
green
AC
indicator
will
turn
off.
The
display
message
“BATT
ON”
shall
be
displayed
alternately
with
the
“RATE
XXX”
value
selected.
