SENSOR
OPERATIONS

Attach
the
Flow
Sensor
to
the
drip
chamber.
Tum
the
unit
on
and
set
the
program
for
“RATE
300”
and
“VOL
100”.
Load
a
set
into
the
unit
and
push
RUN/STOP.
While
the
unit
is
running,
plug
in
the
Flow
Sensor.
The
unit
displays
“IN
STOP”
alternately
with
“PUSH
RUN”
within
15
seconds.
With
the
Flow
Sensor
plugged
in,
push
RUN/STOP
key.
While
the
unit
is
running
unplug
the
Flow
Sensor.
The
unit
displays
“IN
STOP”
or
“PROX
OCCL”,
“EMPT
BOTT”,
depending
on
the
program,
alternately
with
the
“PUSH
RUN”
within
15
seconds.
Reconnect
the
Flow
Sensor
and
push
RUN/STOP
to
continue
unit
operation.
While
the
unit
is
running,
pinch
off
the
tubing
above
the
unit.
The
unit
displays
“PROX
OCCL”
alternately
with
“EMPT
BOTT”
within
15
seconds.
5.
BATTERY
LIFE
TEST
NOTE:
This
test
shall
only
be
performed
on
a
pump
.
with
a
fully
charged
battery.
This
requires
18
consecutive
hours
of
unit
charge
time.
~
Turn
the
unit
on
and
place
it
in
the
TEST
MODE.
Depress
the
PIG.
RATE
key
for
OCC
function
.
Depress
the
SILENCE
key.
Remove
the
unit
plug
from
the
AC
outlet.
Observe
the
time
that
elapses
before
the
unit
displays
“PLUG
IN”.
The
required
time
shall
be
greater
