2 Safety information
2.1 Intended use
The DE04, DE04/1 as well as DE10 are absolute, electronic position indica-
tors. The factory-programmed display units in hollow shaft design serve
for direct reading of position values on adjusting spindles.
Owing to their higher resolution and accuracy, better speed behavior and
additional functions they are vastly superior to mechanical digital indica-
tors.
1. Observe all safety instructions contained herein.
2. Arbitrary modifications and changes to this position indicator are for-
bidden.
3. Observe the prescribed operating and installation conditions.
4. Operate the position indicator exclusively within the technical data
and the specified limits (see chapter 9).
