Thinning hair
Note: Using this function you can reduce the hair
volume by only trimming some of it.
Attach the thinning attachment

product as described under "Changing
the attachments."

Trimming beards
Note that the desired trim length can only be
achieved if the product is held perpendicularly
to the skin.
Comb the beard using the supplied styling
comb

in its direction of growth.
Trim the beard moving down from the ear to-
ward the chin, first one side, then the other.
Use the cutting unit

to trim the beard very short or to
trim a mustache or hairline.
Adjust the desired trim length by rotating the
lower part of the product

trim length settings (¹⁄₃₂ in / 0.8 mm ;
³⁄₆₄ in / 1.1 mm ; ₆ in / 1.4 mm ; ₆ in / 1.7 mm ;
₄ in / 2.0 mm).
To trim a mustache, firstly comb it straight
down. Start at the center above the mouth,
then one side and then the other.
Cleaning and care
