Positioning infants over twelve months of age:
Stand slightly to the side behind the
infant.
Gently pull the ear back and up, before
carefully inserting the sensor tip

the ear.

and press the ON / OFF /
MEASURE button

for one second.
The measured value appears on the
display and the end of measurement is
indicated with a short beep (when the
key tone is activated). The next measure-
ment is possible after approx. 5 seconds.
If the measured value lies within the normal range (<38°C / 100.4°F),
the LED beneath the display lights up green for 3 seconds. If the
measured value is higher than this (≥ 38°C/100.4°F = fever), the
LED will light up red.
If you have activated Bluetooth
®
data transfer, the data will be
transferred after the measurement. The thermometer displays the
symbol for Bluetooth
®
during transfer.
Note: The „HealthForYou“ app must be activated for transfer to
occur. If the current data is not displayed on your smartphone,
repeat the transfer process as described in the chapter „transfer-
ring measured values“.
The device switches off automatically after 60 seconds, or press
the ON / OFF / MEASURE button

for 5 seconds to switch it off.
Clean the device after every use as described in the chapter
„cleaning and care“.
