Pairing the Bluetooth
®
headset with
a compatible mobile phone
Before you can use the Bluetooth
®
headset 8,
you must pair it with a compatible mobile phone.
♦ When the Bluetooth
®
headset 8 is plugged
into the USB charger 1 and the vehicle ignition
is switched on, the Bluetooth
®
headset 8
automatically switches to pairing mode. The multi-
function button
6 flashes alternately orange
and blue. When the Bluetooth
®
headset 8
is fully charged, the multifunction button 6
flashes blue rapidly.
♦ If the Bluetooth
®
headset 8 is not plugged
into the USB charger 1, press the multifunction
button 6 briefly to activate pairing mode.
The multifunction button 6 flashes rapidly
blue.
♦ Set the mobile phone so that it scans for
Bluetooth
®
devices. A detailed description of
how to do this is to be found in the operating
instructions for your mobile phone.
