The principle: marking
z

Wherever you see the lock symbols and a
dot, the same principle applies.
1. Placing the upper accessory in
position:
Mount the upper accessory with the
z
marking pointing to the open lock
symbol .
2. Turning clockwise:
Turn the upper accessory clockwise until
it clicks into place.
3. Correctly assembled:
When the accessories have been cor-
rectly assembled, the
z
marking points
to the closed lock symbol .
Lid14 of the blender jug13
There is a lock symbol / on the lid14
for mounting the lid to the blender jug13.
The blender jug has no marking on the top.
1. Place the lid14 on with a slight offset.
2. Turn the lid14 clockwise (in the direc-
tion of the closed lock symbol
) until it
is firmly in place.
Switching on and off and
adjusting the speed
Use the dial11 to switch the device on and
off and select the speed setting:
Using the blade
assembly
DANGER! Risk of injury!
~ The blades of the blade assembly5 are
very sharp. Do not touch them. Attach
the blade guard6 when you are not us-
ing the blade assembly5.
• Removing the blade guard:
Pull the blade guard6 in the middle
slightly away from the blade assem-
bly5 and remove this by pulling up-
wards.
• Attaching the blade guard:
Place the blade assembly5 into the
blade guard6 from the top. Make sure
that both blades are completely protect-
ed.
Application area:
The blade assembly5 is suitable for chop-
ping onions, herbs, vegetables, fruit, hard
cheese (e.g. Parmesan) and meat.
