Disposal of packaging materials
The packaging protects the appliance from
damage during transport. The packaging
materials have been selected for their environ-
mental friendliness and ease of disposal, and
are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging into the
material cycle conserves raw materials
and reduces the amount of waste
generated.
Dispose of packaging materials that are no
longer needed in accordance with applicable
local regulations.
Power supply receiver
The receiver must be plugged into a properly
installed power socket and does not require
batteries.
Inserting/replacing the batteries
♦ Open the battery compartment 9 by
inserting a coin into the slot and turning the
battery compartment cover 0 counterclock-
wise. The arrow on the lid must point to the
open lock symbol (see Fig. 1).
