General safety instructions
Risk of burns!
Do not place other items (e.g. cutlery,
utensils, pan lids, etc.) on the heating zone
(2). These can become very hot and cause
burns.
Do not touch the heating zone (2) surface a
cooking vessel has previously been standing
on. After the cooking vessel is removed, the
heating zone (2) surface can still be very
hot.
Risk of fire!
Oil and fat can catch fire if over-heated.
Therefore, be careful when heating oil and
fat. Never leave hot oil or fat unattended.
Risk of explosion! Never attempt to
extinguish burning oil or fat with water.
Instead, smother it by covering the cooking
pan with a well-fitting lid or plate. Unplug
