Cleaning and care
o Before cleaning: Disconnect the mains plug [] from the mains socket.

WARNING! Do not immerse the electrical parts of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold
the product under running water.
Part Cleaning
Product
Clean the housing with a slightly moistened cloth.
Do not allow any water or other liquids enter the product‘s interior.
Cooling packs

The cooling packs must not be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Clean the cooling packs with a slightly moistened cloth.
Back cover
[]
Air filter[]
Press the tabs on the top of the back cover and pull it out of the product.
Removing the air filter: Grab the air filter at its top, tilt it forward and pull it out
of the product (Fig. F).
Clean the dry back cover and the dry air filter with a vacuum cleaner.
Alternatively rinse the air filter gently with water. Let the air filter dry completely
before attaching to the back cover.
Removable water
tank

NOTE: To remove the removable water tank[] completely from the
product, you must first remove the pump
[] (Fig. D).
Rotate the locking lever[] for the pump[] counter-clockwise by 90°.
Remove the pump[] from the removable water tank [].
Remove the removable water tank[] from the product.
Due to hygienic reasons, change the water on a regular basis.
Decalcify the water tank regularly and before storage: Add 500 ml of vinegar
and 1000 ml of water to the water tank. Swish the liquid around so that the
bottom and sides of the water tank are covered. Let the liquid soak for at least
1 hour. The vinegar acts as a natural cleanser that loosens buildup from the
bottom of the water tank. Rinse the water tank thoroughly.
Remote control

Remove the battery from the remote control. Clean the contacts on the battery/
rechargeable battery with dry lint-free cloth. Reinsert the battery.
o Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions
or hard brushes for cleaning.
o After cleaning: Let all parts dry. Reverse
the process of the installation of the back
cover
[], the air filter[] and the pump[]
(as described in above table).
Replacing accessories
o The product features an air filter[]. We
suggest to replace the air filter if the air filter is
lost or damaged.
o Replacement air filters (article number
IAN 446389_2307) can be reordered.

Storage
o When not in use, store the product in its
original packaging.
o Before storing the product: Wind the mains
cord
[] onto the mains cord storage []. Se-
cure the power cord with hook-and-loop tape.
o Empty the removable water tank []. Use a
cloth to wipe dry the water tank.
o Store the product in a dry, secure location
away from children.
