• Following connection, the power socket must continue to be
easily accessible so that the plug can be quickly removed in
an emergency.
• Never open the housing of the rice cooker. If the housing is
open, there is a risk of electric shock.
• If you notice any smoke, unusual noises or smells, switch off
the rice cooker immediately and remove the plug from the
socket. In a case like this, you must stop using the rice cooker
until it has been checked by a specialist. Do not inhale smoke
possibly caused by a burning device. If you have inhaled
smoke, seek medical attention. Inhaling smoke can be
harmful to your health.
• Ensure that the power cord (5) cannot be damaged by sharp
edges or hot surfaces and that it is not jammed or squashed.
• The device must always be disconnected from the mains
network if left unattended, prior to assembly and disassembly
or cleaning.
• Never remove the plug from the power socket by pulling the
power cord (5); only ever pull the plug. Never touch the plug
if your hands are wet.
• Do not spill liquid onto the device plug connection.
• If you find visible damage on the rice cooker or the power
cord (5), switch off the device immediately, remove the plug
from the power socket and contact the service department.
• Never immerse the rice cooker in water or any other liquid. If
liquid gets inside the rice cooker, immediately remove the
plug from the power socket and contact the service
department.
