► Do not kink or crush the power cable, and
route it in such a way as to prevent people
from stepping on or tripping over it.
► Do not use extension cables.
► Never hold the appliance, the power cable or
the power plug with wet hands.
► Unplug the appliance immediately after use.
The appliance is completely free of electrical
power ONLY when unplugged.
► You must not open the device housing or at-
tempt to repair the device yourself. Should you
do so, the safety of the appliance is no longer
assured and the warranty will become void.
Only allow authorised technicians to repair a
defective appliance.
► Ensure that the power cable does not become
wet or moist during use.
Route the cable in such a way that it cannot
be crushed or damaged.
► Ensure that objects can never penetrate into
the inside of the appliance, particularly not
metal hair clips, grips or hairpins.
