You can then specify any SSID for the dual-band Wi-Fi range extender for 2.4G SSID and 5G/AC
SSID. Select an encryption for Security type to protect your network against unauthorised access.
You can also set up the network as unsecured by selecting the OPEN option. However, we would
recommend that you set up an encryption to prevent unauthorised access.
We recommend that you use WPA/WPA2 encryption because it provides maximum
security. If your wireless devices do not support WPA/WPA2 encryption, you have to
use other encryption.
