IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not place the appliance under kitchen cabinets or similar items. These
could be damaged by the escaping steam.

• Before you connect the appliance to the mains supply, check whether the
supply voltage and type of electricity correspond to the specifications on the
appliance’s type plate.
• Iftheapplianceoritspowercable/mainsplugisdamaged,theapplianceisnot
working properly or it has been dropped, do not use it and return it to your
retailer.
• Avoiddamagingthepowercablebycrushingorbendingit,orbyscrapingit
against sharp edges. Do not place the appliance on the power cable. Keep the
power cable away from hot surfaces and open flames. Place the cable in such
a way that unintentional pulling or stumbling across it is avoided.
• Ifyouuseanextensioncableormultiplesocket,thesemustbesuitableforthe
respective function.
• Donotdisconnectthemainsplugbypullingonthecable.
• Connect the mains plug with an easily accessible electrical outlet so that
the appliance can be quickly disconnected from the electrical supply in an
emergency.
