Activate battery
1. Remove the hold-down rods (B) and hold-down bar (A).
Remove the dry battery.
2. Remove the filler cap (F). Fill with electrolyte up to the
split ring full mark (C).
3. Charge the battery for 15 minutes with a
trickle charger (maximum charge rate:
10 amps). Recheck the electrolyte level.
4. Reinstall the battery in the battery compartment and secure
with the hold-down rods (B) and hold-down bar (A).
5. First, connect the positive battery cable (G) to
the positive battery terminal (E). Slide the
terminal cover (G) into place. Second, connect
the negative battery cable (H) to the negative
battery terminal (D).
