NOTE: Unless noted otherwise,
use the standard hardware torque
specification chart.
Torque engine
mounting screws to
40 ft. lbs. (4 places).
Remove screws (4) installed
finger-tight and shipped with
engine. Lubricate with
anti-sieze. Mount exhaust
manifold (Ref. 24) and torque
screws to 175-200 ft. lbs.
Remove tape from exhaust.
Coat threads
with sealant.
Torque to 35-45 ft.
lbs. (4 places)
Do NOT apply sealant
or teflon tape to oil
pressure switch.
Torque to 75-100 in. lbs.
Apply anti-sieze
lubricant to
crankshaft
Hold hex washer
and torque to
45-50 ft. lbs.
