REMOVING
THE
PRINTED
CIRCUIT
It
will
be
necessary
to
remove
the
printed
circuit
board
when
you
recuire
access
to
its
under-side,
or
the
parts
which
are
located
between
it
and
the
front
panel.

Use
the.following
procedure:
Set
the
function
switch
at
+D.C.
and
the
range

Remove
the
ZERC
ОНМ5
control
knob.
Remove
the
two
screws
through
the
lower
part
of
the
printed
circuit
board.
Remove
the
two
hex
nuts
from
the
meter
studs
on
the
top
of
the
printed
circuit
board.
Carefully
pry
out
the
battery
contact
at
the
+
terminal
for
the
small
1.5
volt
cells.
This
is
connected
to
the
upper
left
hand
corner
of
the
printed
circuit
board
with
an
orange
lead.
Lift
the
printed
circuit
board
away
from
the
front
panel.
The
entire
board,
with
the
switch
wafers
in
place,
will
come
up
in
one
piece.
After
removal,
do
not
turn
knobs
on
front
panel
or
move
any
rotors
on
switches
until
reassembled.

If
you
have
a
Model
270
First
remove
the
subassembly
carrying
the
protective
diode
and
temperature
compensating
resistors.
To do
this
you
remove
the
two
mounting
screws
and
disconnect
the
three
leads
attached.
