  The Simpson Pressure Washer engine might not start due to several reasons: there's no fuel, so add fresh fuel; pressure builds up after a few pulls, squeeze the gun trigger to relieve pressure; the choke lever is in the "RUN" position, move it to the "CHOKE" position; the spark plug wire is not attached, so attach it; the engine switch is in the OFF position, place it in the ON position; or the choke lever is in the "CHOKE" position on a hot engine, move it to the "RUN" position.

  If your Simpson Pressure Washer has no or low pressure upon initial use, several factors could be the cause. Ensure the spray wand does not have a black nozzle installed. Check that your water supply is at least 5 gpm @ 20 PSI. Look for leaks at the high-pressure hose fitting and repair them, replacing the O-Ring if necessary. Ensure the nozzle isn't obstructed. Verify the water filter screen isn't clogged. Remove any air in the hose or pump by disconnecting the water source, removing air from the hose, and reconnecting. Ensure the choke is in the “RUN” position and that the high-pressure hose is under 100 feet (30 m).

If the chemical is too thick, dilute it to the same consistency as water. Finally, ensure you are lengthening the water supply hose instead of using a high-pressure hose.
