How to troubleshoot a Simpson CM60976 that will not start?
    • D
      Debra SmithAug 7, 2025
If your Simpson Pressure Washer won't start, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the power supply cord is securely plugged into a working 120 volt, 15 ampere receptacle. Check your house circuit breaker and reset it if it has tripped. If your receptacle or power supply cord has a GFCI, try resetting it by pushing the RESET button. Also, make sure the master ON/OFF switch is in the ON position. Finally, the thermal switch may have tripped; in this case, turn the master ON/OFF switch to the OFF position and allow the unit to cool for 30 minutes before trying again.

Why does my Simpson Pressure Washer have low or no water spray pressure?
    • K
      karen46Aug 16, 2025
If your Simpson Pressure Washer has low or no water spray pressure, it could be due to several reasons. First, there might be air in the hoses or pump; in this case, refer to the PRIMING THE PUMP section of this manual to remove air from pump and hoses. Second, the water supply might be insufficient; ensure it's at least 5 gpm @ 20 PSI. A clogged nozzle or water inlet screen could also be the culprit; clean them per the MAINTENANCE section of this manual.

What to do if detergent fails to mix with the spray in my Simpson Pressure Washer?
    • T
      Tracy PetersAug 27, 2025
If the detergent isn't mixing with the spray in your Simpson Pressure Washer, there are a few potential causes. Check the transparent tube for clogs or cracks, and clean or replace it if necessary. Make sure the transparent tube is properly attached to the detergent tank. Ensure you're using the correct nozzle by installing the black soap nozzle on the wand. Also, the detergent might be too thick; try adding water to make it the consistency of water.
