STORING THE PRESSURE WASHER
The pump on this unit is a maintenance free design. The pump was lled with oil at the
factory and has no oil drain or ll plugs. If there is a problem with the pump on this pressure

Pump Maintenance
1. Disconnect the high-pressure hose from the pump and the gun.
2. Hold the gun in a vertical plane and squeeze the trigger to remove trapped water.
3. Remove trapped water from the high-pressure hose; coil for storage.
4. Using SIMPSON Pump Guard*, attach the nozzle hose to the pump input.
5. Push down on the Pump Guard nozzle unit the excess water and protectant
comes out of the high-pressure port. Disconnect the Pump Guard connector.
6. Store the pressure washer and its accessories in a cool, dry location out of direct
sunlight.
* SIMPSON Pump Guard (not included) is the best way to maintain the health of your high-
pressure pump. It lubricates and protects the seals during long-term storage while lling
the pump with a non-freezing solution. Never allow water to remain within the pump during
storage. The water will freeze if the temperature dips below 33
