Implementation
Refer to Drawing Number SRD12 General Assembly Rotary Drive and undo the 3
gearbox top cover retaining screws. Remove the gearbox cover. Disconnect the
NMEA, solenoid supply and motor drive cables to facilitate access to TR7. Refer to
Drawing Number E03320, SRD12 PCB Assembly Detail and locate TR7. Solder a
surface mount 10KΩ Resistor, Part Number 100190, directly across the Base and
Emitter connections of TR7. Reconnect the NMEA, solenoid supply and motor drive
cables.
Functional Check
Set up the pilot on the bench. Check that the pilot operates satisfactorily in both
Standby and Auto modes and that the solenoid / clutch engagement is positive with
supply voltage set at both 10v and 16v. Replace the gearbox top cover and replace
and tighten the retaining screws.
