What to do if the Sinclair Music Mixer TV picture is black and white?

If the TV picture is black and white or very unstable when using the Sinclair Music Mixer, it could be due to incorrect compatibility mode. If you are using a UK/EU PAL TV, ensure you are not pressing button [1] when turning on or resetting the Vega. Conversely, if you are using a US NTSC TV, enter the US compatible mode by holding button [1] while turning on or resetting the Vega.
