Most
fabric
of stretch
or knit
construction
need
only
to
be
guided
in
front
of
the
presser
foot
when
you
use
one
of
the
stretch
stitches.
Some
fabric
-nylon
tricot
and
elasticized
fabric,
for
example
-do
require
support
while
being
stitched.

tricot
and
similar
synthetic
knits,
apply
gentle
tension
by
holding
the
seam
in

as
you sew

knit

stretch
fabric,
because
of their

require
either
more or
less than
nor-
mal
presser
bar
pressure
to
feed
smoothly
and

down
on

regulator

desired
pressure
