which applique
work can
be done. The appropriate
method
is determined by the fabric
being used, and
a test sample is advisable.

properly and baste
it to the fabric. Attach

presser foot
to the presser
bar.

for desired applique stitch.
Stitch, outlining

Corded applique, which

dimensional effect, is a particularly

tive finish for lace
applique.
Either method of appliqueing can
be used
when cording is desired.
The only change
in
procedure
is the introduction
of
the cord,
over which the
applique stitching is
formed.
