Single stitch eyelet
( 1) At the point for eyelet, transfer 1 stitch from A ibber
to Knitter.
(2) Leave empty needle in 8 position.
Continue to knit.
Double stitch eyelet

( 1) Transfer 2 stitches on Knitter onto their adjacent
stitches at the point for the buttonhole.
Work the same on Ribber.
(2) Push empty needles on Knitter to A position. Leave
empty needles on Ribber in 8 position .
(3) Knit 1 row, then on Knitter, push up needles to 8
position from which stitches were transferred to ad-
jacent needles.
(4) Knit 1 row.
(5) Hook hanging yarn on Knitter needle.
Continue to knit.
