Before hitching
– Check if the PTO shaft (1) is located in the centre of
the machine.
– Check if the mechanical relief chains (2) are
outside the area of the three-point hitch (if
hydraulic relief is not available).
– Set the width of the lower arms of the three-point
hitch to the first or the second category (3) on the
tractor.
Performing the hitching
– Move the tractor close to the mower and attach it
to the three-point hitch by lifting the lower arms.
– Fix the rim nut to allow the mower to shift closer to
the tractor when lifted to the transport position.
– Check if the distance of the mower in the transport
position from the ground is at least 300mm,
otherwise change the mounting method to the
machine (5).
– Check if the distance between the tractor’s and
the machine’s shaft is at least 500 mm,
otherwise change the mounting method to the
machine (5).
Settle the protective curtain on joints to
secure the covering of the nex two
protective curtains.
