OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
HITCHING UP TO THE TRACTOR
• Attach the Maize-cob harvester to the
lower tractor hitch on the backside of the
tractor.
• Set the PTO Shaft. Safety device should
be on the tractor. Fix the PTO Shaft
protection with chain.
• Connect hydraulic hose to the tractor in
the way to avoid damages caused at
driving and curves.
• Set the hydraulic distributor in the added
holder which is well fixed on the tractor
(fig. 8)
• Pull out the jack stand (pos. 8, fig. 1) and
fix it into holder placed near the left
wheel of the harvester.
• After hitching the machine to the tractor
run test and check the correct functioning
of all units.

ROLLERS AND PLATES
Set the machine in working position (fig. 9).
Enter into maize rows with 500 rot./min on
the PTO Shaft and approx. speed 2-3 km/h.
Adjust the height of picking unit by tractor
hydraulic according to crop condition. When
you see that the machine is running normally,
adapt the driving speed and rotations of PTO
Shaft to density and height of maize stalk, in
order to get quality and efficient work.
