ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF
TRANSPORT SHOVELS – ABOVE
HUSKING UNIT
Adapt the height of the lid with transport
shovels to the size of the cob, ripeness grade
and type of maize, regarding to the husking
difficulty. Turning the screw (pos. 1, fig. 15)
you raise and lower the height of the lid.
Position “C” on the front at the entrance of
cobs can be higher (the lid higher) due to
cubs not being husked at this point.
Belt of the ventilator and driving chain of the
shovels are in the height automatically
following the adjustment. If the chain or belt
of any reason don’t lie in line, adjust them by
adding the washers (pos. 2) between holder
and tube. Untie the screw (pos. 3).
