FAN ABOVE HUSKING UNIT
It is known wet cobs can be well husked.
When crushing stalks on a dry and windy
day, more admixture gets in the husking unit.
The ventilator reduces that. It creates
overpressure that presses light pieces of
admixture down the husking rollers,
increasing thereby their efficiency. A part of
admixture is conveyed to cleaning rollers. For
longer life time we recommend to turn on the
ventilator only if needed. When harvesting
certain sorts of maize or in dry and windy
weather.
ATTENTION!
Turn on/off the fan only when the machine
is not running.
The fan is switched on with the handle (pos.
2, fig. 16).
Pulling the handle out, the fan is switched
off. To switch it on, push the handle inside
and draw the belt (pos. 3, fig. 16) slowly to
put the gears in driving position. Push the
handle till it gets stuck.
MAINTENANCE AND
LUBRICATION
Only well maintained and greased harvester
will be operational, therefor handle with it
according to producer’s instructions.
Before starting the work check regularly:
- tension of chain and belt transportation
- tightness of screws and nuts
- air pressure in pneumatics
SHUT OFF ENGINE AND REMOVE
THE IGNITION KEY FROM THE TRACTOR
BEFORE ANY INTERVENTION ON THE
MACHINE.
Greasing points (Nr. of nipples M)
- hopper lift (8)
- miller (2)
- rotor above picking unit (2)
- bearings of vertical conveyor (4)
- stretching chain gear (1)
Greasing points and procedure are shown on
the greasing scheme (fig. 17). The greasing
nipples and uncovered gears must be
lubricated with multipurpose grease. Chains
must be well oiled each day. PTO Shaft is to
be lubricated following the producer’s
instructions. Gear box “R” is filled with liquid
grease VISKOMA R. Change it at least once
in 2 years.
