– Take the contact on the wire and press it gently into the
socket housing -arrow-.
Note
Pressing the contact in the direction of the socket housing lifts
the detents of the contact away from the housing shoulder and
they can then be unlocked with the release tool.
– Press the release tool in the direction of the socket housing
-arrow- at the same time and pull the unlocked contact out of
the socket housing.
– The release tool can be pulled back out of the socket hous‐
ing after the contact has been removed.
