Why is my Skov Fan DA 1700 making abnormal noise?

  Abnormal noise from the Skov Fan DA 1700 can be caused by several factors. It is advisable to: * Check the fan blades for defects and replace or clean them. * Check the size of the motor protection and replace it if needed, changing to the correct size. * Inspect the fan motor for any blockages and remove them. * Also, too high negative pressure in the livestock house can be a cause, so check the air inlets.

  The Skov Fan inlet flap may not close or open because it's obstructed by touching the ventilation duct, or the actuator is blocked. If the flap is obstructed, remedy the damage. If the actuator is blocked, replace the defective parts.

  If the Skov Fan motor continues to run and doesn't turn off, you should: * Check the size of the motor protection. * Replace the motor protection, changing to the correct size. * Check if the fan motor is blocked and remove any blockage. * Check the air inlets if there is too high negative pressure in the livestock house. * Check the signal to the contactor. * Measure the voltage going to the motor.
