10.11.7 Hydraulic Troubleshooting - SLOW PIVOT Mode, Rod Oil Out
While traveling, ride feels spongy
(riding on 3 wheels).
Conditions:
Ignition ON,
engine running
•Boom angle is
above 40°
Travel select
lever in (F)
FORWARD or (R)
REVERSE
Park brake OFF
Service brake
DISENGAGED
If OK
Not
Check electrical wiring.
Not
Check solenoid coils 4A and 4B on the
Stabil-TRAK manifold for correct resistance
(7-9 ohms).
Replace solenoid(s).
Not
Remove solenoid cartridges 4A and 4B from
Stabil-TRAK manifold and inspect for debris
or damage.
Clean passages or replace cartridge(s).
If OK
If OK
Not
Replace check valve(s).
Inspect check valves on frame level cylinder.

Section 10.9,
“Stabil-TRAK Boom Interlock Electrical
