How to Operate

Machine Preparation and Setup

Ensure the machine is locked, raise the needle arm, and place fabric under the fastening plate.

Thread the Needle

Thread two inches of thread through the needle.

Starting and Controlling Sewing

Unlock, press power switch, and guide fabric with left hand for direction and stitch width.

Finishing a Seam

Cutting the Thread

Raise needle arm, pull thread out about three inches, then cut.

Removing Fabric

Lift fastening plate and carefully remove cloth without pulling the seam thread.

Maintenance and Components

Needle Replacement Procedure

Loosen set screw, remove old needle, install new #14 DHx1 needle with flat side facing front.

Battery Replacement

Unlock machine, pull/press button, ensure locked position before replacing batteries.

Using a Regular Thread Spool

Remove bobbin, slide spool onto extension spindle, and connect to bobbin shaft.
