5. Fork adjustment
The SR Suntour XCR Air has a both air and coil with
rebound adjustment.
1.1 To adjust the air unscrew left cap and
pump the shock up to the reccomended pressure.
When you are sitting on the bike the shock should
sag 30%.
1.2 Adjust the coil rebound by turning the
red knob located at the bottom right of the fork. To
get in the ballpark, stand astride the bike, put your
hands flat on the bars and quickly push down and
then lift up. The rebounding forks should just about
keep up with your hands. If they hit them, add more
damping. If they drift sluggishly upwards, reduce
the damping.
1.3 To lock out the shock for uhill riding, turn
the blue knob clockwise so that the knob faces
forward.
6. Rear Shock
1.1 To set the air unscrew the dust cap and
pump the shock up to reccomended pressure. When
sitting on the bike the shock should sit at around
30% sag.
1.2 Adjust the rebound by turning the red
knob to users liking. clockwise will make it slower,
anticlockwise faster.
1.3 To lock out the shock for uhill riding, turn
the blue knob clockwise so that the knob points
toward the right side of the bike.
