4) Perform a Self Test: Place the unit upside
down on the bench, plug in the Power
Supply and the Cable. Turn Power Supply
to the ON position: the Pump Motor
should run and then the Drive Motor
should turn on. Shut the unit down after
the Drive Motor starts to run.
• If the cleaner is “Dead In Water” then there should not be any movement from the unit.
• If the cleaner has “No Suction” then the Pump Motor should not turn on.
• If the cleaner “Does Not Move” then the Drive Motor will not turn on or the unit will shut
down when the Drive Motor goes to turn on.
• If the cleaner “Stands On End/Wheelies” or “Back and Forth” then the unit is most likely
going to perform a Self Test. If the Filter Bag was improperly installed, then water test the unit
without a Bottom Lid or Filter Bag.
