The turntable is driven by a custom made bi-phase AC synchronous
motor.ThespeedcontrolunitusesadedicatedDSPenginetogenerate
two independent pure mathemacal sine waves which provide total
controloffrequency,phaserelaonshipandamplitude.Theseinturnare
matched (tuned)tothe motor foraccuracyto obtainthe bestpossible
performance. The output driver stage is a 2 channel, class AB Bi-polar
designwith low distoronandrelay coupled directlytothe motor. The
enredesignisimplementedusinghighqualitysurfacemounttechnology
onagoldplatedFR4PCB.
