This document serves as a comprehensive guide for the proper and safe use of your new dishwasher, ensuring you get the most out of its features and maintain its optimal performance. It is crucial to read this manual carefully before operating the appliance, as it contains all necessary information regarding its installation, operation, and maintenance.
Function Description
Your dishwasher is designed and manufactured specifically for washing and drying dishes within a household environment. This includes similar settings such as staff kitchens in shops, offices, other workplaces, institutions, and for guests in hotels, hostels, bed and breakfasts, and other residential facilities. Any use outside of this intended function is considered improper, and the manufacturer disclaims all responsibility for such uses.
The dishwasher offers a variety of wash programs tailored to different needs and levels of soiling. These include:
- SOAK: A pre-wash cycle for dishes awaiting a full wash.
- CRYSTAL 45°: Ideal for delicate items like wine glasses and fine china, ensuring dazzlingly clean glassware.
- AUTO 45°-65°: This intelligent cycle automatically adjusts washing parameters based on the detected soil level for mixed loads with dried-on residues.
- ECO 48°C: The most efficient program in terms of water and energy consumption, recommended for normally soiled dishes, including those with dried-on residues. This is the standard program for comparative tests.
- MIX 65°: Suitable for normally soiled mixed loads of dishes and pans, even with dried-on residues.
- INTENSE 70°: For heavily soiled plates, pots, and pans, including those with dried-on residues.
- EXPRESS 27': A quick cycle for lightly soiled dishes, to be washed immediately after use.
- DELICATE 50°: A wash cycle specifically for mixed loads such as wine glasses and lightly soiled dishes.
- SILENT: Designed for normally soiled dishes, even with dried-on residues, ideal for running overnight due to its quiet operation.
- GREEN EXPRESS: A quick wash cycle with low water and energy consumption, suitable for normally soiled mixed loads that have been washed immediately after use.
- FULL EXPRESS 60': A quick cycle for normally soiled mixed loads of dishes and pans, including those with dried-on residues. Dishes are washed and dried within 60 minutes.
- HYGIENE 99.9%: An intensive wash cycle for plates, pots, pans, cutting boards, and feeding bottles. This program is ideal for baby dishes or for households with allergy sufferers. It has been tested by an external laboratory (VDE) and should not be interrupted for optimal effectiveness.
- TRAYS: An intensive cleaning program for oven trays placed in the lower basket. Ensure the upper spray arm rotates freely.
- SELF CLEAN: A dedicated dishwasher cleaning cycle that must be started with the machine empty and without dishes.
Many programs include an "Automatic door opening – Dry Assist" feature, which activates automatically to enhance drying by slightly opening the door during the drying cycle. This feature can be deactivated if not required.
Usage Features
Operating your dishwasher is straightforward. After installation, ensure the basket retainers are removed.
Switching On and Programming:
To switch on the dishwasher, open the door and press the ON/OFF button; the display will illuminate. Programming can only be done with the door open and the dishwasher switched on. After selecting your desired program and any additional options, close the door to start the program.
Display Indicators:
The display provides useful information:
- Dirt Level: Indicates the intensity of dirt the selected program can handle.
- Water Consumption: Shows the water usage for the selected program.
- Energy Consumption: Displays the energy usage for the selected program.
- Faults and Malfunctions: A signal will appear in case of any issues.
- Salt and Rinse Aid Indicators: Lights up when salt or rinse aid levels are low.
- Scheduled Duration, Errors, Settings: Shows scheduled program duration, error codes, water hardness, and rinse aid settings, and allows activation/deactivation of the audible signal.
- Wi-Fi Connection: Indicates Wi-Fi connection status and signal strength, and allows for Wi-Fi updates.
- Delayed Start: Shows by how many hours the start has been delayed.
- Settings Menu: Appears when accessing the settings menu for water hardness adjustment, rinse aid dosage, and audible signal.
- Pause Symbol: Appears before starting a program or when the door is opened.

Adding Consumables:
- Salt: Essential for preventing scale deposits. Unscrew the cap of the salt container. For the first time, fill the container with one liter of water, then add approximately 1 kg of regeneration salt using the provided funnel. Remove any salt residues before screwing the cap back on. Always use regeneration salt specifically for domestic dishwashers. After adding salt, run a wash cycle to remove any excess.
- Rinse Aid: Helps dishes dry more quickly. Open the dispenser by pressing and lifting the tab on the cover. Refill when the rinse aid indicator light turns on. Close the cover until it clicks. Wipe away any spilled rinse aid to prevent excess foam.
- Detergent: Open the detergent dispenser cover by lightly pressing button P. Add the detergent or tablet, then close the cover by sliding it until it clicks.
Options:
The dishwasher offers several options to customize your wash cycle:
- SPECIAL: Activates additional programs, indicated by a blue light.
- TRAYS: For intensive cleaning of oven trays.
- SELF CLEAN: For cleaning the dishwasher itself.
- DELAY: Allows delaying the wash cycle by up to 9, 12, or 24 hours, depending on the model.
- DRY ASSIST: Ensures perfect drying even at low rinse temperatures with significant energy savings. It activates automatically with compatible programs but can be disabled.
- MEZZO CARICO FLEXY ZONE: Ideal for washing only a few dishes, saving energy and shortening the wash cycle.
- CLEAN & SHINE: Adds an extra rinse to the wash cycle for perfect results and brighter dishes.
Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your dishwasher. Always unplug the appliance or switch off the omnipolar circuit breaker before performing any maintenance.
Cleaning the Water Intake Filter:
Close the water supply tap, unscrew the end of the water intake hose, remove filter A, and clean it under running water. Reinsert the filter and carefully screw the hose back on.
Cleaning the Spray Arms:
Remove the spray arms and wash them with a jet of water, ensuring they can rotate freely when reinstalled.
- To remove the upper spray arm, unscrew locking ring R.
- To remove the lower spray arm, simply lift it up by pulling the central part.
- To remove the orbital spray arm assembly, take hold of the longer arm and pull the orbital unit upward.
- For planetarium sprayers, follow the specific instructions provided in the manual.
Cleaning the Filter Unit:
- Remove the planetarium spray arm (if fitted).
- Grip the tabs, turn them anticlockwise, and lift upwards.
- Push the central filter D from underneath to remove it from the micro-filter.
- Separate the two parts of the plastic filter by pressing the body of the filter in the indicated zone.
Troubleshooting:
The dishwasher is equipped with a self-diagnostics system that signals possible faults. If an alarm occurs, the machine stops the current program and indicates the fault.
- Alarms E1 and E11 require contacting technical assistance.
- Alarm E7 is displayed at the end of the cycle but does not affect operation.
- For other alarms (E02, E03, E04, E05, E06, E07, E08, E09), stop the current program, switch off the dishwasher, then switch it on and reprogram to start a new wash cycle.
If a malfunction persists, contact an authorized Service Centre and provide them with the fault code. The manufacturer reserves the right to make necessary improvements to its products without prior notice.
