B-1 General
The 9100 contains network interface port that resides on the FSU module. This port is primarily used as a
Network Time Server (NTS) but also provides a command line interface through Telnet. There are two fielded
configurations of the FSU. The old configuration contains a device server from Lantronix and the new
configuration contains a TRAK designed network interface. The part numbers of the old FSU configuration with
the Lantronix device server is 9104-1 through 9104-8. The part number of new FSU configuration is 9104-9 and
above.

Note: While in a Telnet session, time is not
available to the network.
The Model 9104 is shipped with a default IP address of 10.1.5.250. To set a different address, the following
procedure may be used.
To enter or change the IP address, establish a Telnet session utilizing the default address listed above and
entering Port 9999.
Once the Lantronix (NTS engine manufacturer) serial number and software version message is displayed. (MAC
Address and serial number will vary from unit to unit)
