D-1. OPTIONAL DC POWER INPUT
Appendix D contains only DC power input information. All other information pertaining to the Model 9100 is
covered in the main body of this manual. The DC option is factory installed and is specified at time of order. DC
versions of the Model 9100 contain a DC model suffix, (9100-8DC) located on the model and serial label on the
front, left side of the main frame.
D-2 DC INPUT CONNECTIONS
DC power input pin connections, for connectors mating with TB1 / TB2, are listed in Table D-1. It is
recommended that DC power be applied only after power connections are applied to unit. The DC power
supplies accept 20 to 60 VDC. For DC power input to Power Supply A (A11), connect power to DC INPUT A
(TB1) and for DC power input to Power Supply B (A12), connect power to DC INPUT B (TB2). The DC Power
Supplies are designed to operate over the input range of 20 to 60 VDC and input is floating with respect to
chassis / system ground. Therefore, the DC power supplies operate in both +24 volt and –48 volt systems, with
only attention to power input connections required. Each DC input is separately fused at the DC input
connection. 8 amp fast-blow 5mm X 20mm 250 volt fuses are installed. Replace ONLY
with fuse(s) of the
same ratings.
