Introduction
The Socket and See MFT5000 Multifunction Installation Tester has been designed and
built to the highest standards providing you with a safe and simple solution to your test
requirements.
The MFT5000 tester is used to verify the safety of Commercial, Domestic and
Industrial installations. All testing is required to meet BS7671. The MFT5000 covers all
aspects of these requirements with ease of use and safety in mind.
Conformance with Standards
This tester complies with all the latest UK and European regulations.
This tester has been tested according to the following regulations:
BS EN 61010-2-030:2010 - Safety requirements for electrical equipment for
measurement, control and laboratory use. Particular requirements for testing
and measuring circuits.
BS EN 61326-2-2:2013 - Electrical equipment for measurement, control and
laboratory use. Particular requirements for portable test, measuring and
monitoring equipment used in low-voltage distribution systems.
BS EN 61557:2007 - Electrical safety in low voltage distribution systems up to
1000V AC. and 1500V DC. Equipment for testing, measuring or monitoring of
protective measures.
