2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The inverter is a photovoltaic inverter for conversion of direct current into alternating current in line with the mains network. In
accordance with local and national regulations, in the event that excess energy is produced it can be sold to the local electricity
supply company or credited in anticipation of future consumption; if not much energy is obtained from the photovoltaic system, it
will be drawn from the mains network instead, to ensure that household utilities continue to run normally. The operating principle is
illustrated in figure 2.1.
