Hazard no. 20 – ERICard no. 2-51 – UN 1014: The CO
2
cylinders
are pressurised vessels categorised as UN no. 1013, carbon
dioxide. ADR class 2, classification code 2A. It is assumed
that the containers are refillable and the capacity is > 0.5 l
• Contains gas under pressure
• Heating the container will cause pressure to rise and risk of explo-
sion and immediate release of expanding vapour cloud creating a
pressure wave
• Cool down the cylinder, store in a well-ventilated area. Store up-
right. Store away from flammable gases and other combustible ma-
terials
