Why is my SOLAC ESPRESSION SUPREMMA Coffee Maker pouring out only water when using ground coffee?

  If your SOLAC Coffee Maker pours out only water when you select ground coffee, it might be due to several reasons: 1. You may not have put ground coffee in the dispenser. Add ground coffee using the dispensing spoon (maximum one flat spoonful) and select the coffee again. 2. You might have put too much coffee in the dispenser. Clean the ground coffee from the dispenser and repeat the operation using a maximum of one flat spoonful. 3. The coffee bean compartment may be empty, and you haven't pressed the button. Press the button again. 4. You may have put the ground coffee in the dispenser when the coffee-maker was switched off. Clean the ground coffee from the dispenser. Repeat the operation, first pressing the button.

  If no coffee comes out of the outlets of your SOLAC Coffee Maker, it could be due to: * The coffee outlet being blocked with dry coffee remains. Remove the coffee outlet and wash it under the tap. * The pipes through which the coffee comes out of the coffee-maker into the removal outlet being blocked. Remove the coffee outlet and clean the blocked pipe(s) with a needle.

The coffee-maker automatically cleans the pipes to ensure the coffee is of optimum quality, free from the remains of previous coffees. Do not put the cup in position until the coffee-maker has performed the auto-cleaning process.

  If the coffee flow decreases or the brewing time increases in your SOLAC Coffee Maker, the brewing unit needs to be cleaned. Clean the unit as indicated in section 17 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.

  The first time you start the grinder on your SOLAC Coffee Maker, it might not pour enough coffee into the brewing unit, resulting in poor quality. Throw the first coffee away. The other coffees will always be of good quality.
