INTRODUCTION
The Saltron produces a pure form of chlorine by electrolysis of salt (NaCl) in order to sanitize your pool water. After the salt is converted to Chlorine and the bacteria
are killed, the chlorine converts back to salt and this process is ongoing. The salt concentration used is very low (less then that in a human tear). Chlorine can be
easily destroyed by ultraviolet light from the sun so it is always a good idea to run the Saltron as much as possible during the night hours along with the pool pump
system. That way the chlorine generated is not immediately destroyed by the sun rays. The chlorine level in your pool can be checked by using a standard chlorine
test kit.
