Inspect the cell every 3 months for scaling. Unplug unit, remove cover and cell, check for white deposits.
Clean cell in 20% muriatic acid solution for 20 mins. Rinse with fresh water. Avoid tools.
Remove cell housing if temperatures drop below freezing. Clean cell before indoor storage to prevent damage.
