What to do if my Soleus Air Dehumidifier does not start?

If your Soleus Air Dehumidifier isn't starting, ensure it's fully plugged into the outlet. Also, check your house's fuse or circuit breaker box, replacing the fuse or resetting the breaker if necessary. The dehumidifier won't start if the bucket isn't correctly positioned, so make sure it is securely seated. Also, the device might have reached its present condition, so changing to a lower setting or emptying the water bucket and replacing it properly might help. Finally, a protective time delay (up to 3 minutes) might be in effect to prevent tripping the compressor overload after a power failure.
