The pumping station should
be mounted vertically on a flat
surface capable of supporting
its weight. It can be installed in
the roof space if necessary, but
note that access will be required
for commissioning and also any
possible maintenance in the
future.
The pressure relief valve on the
pump station can be discharged
into the solar HTF container
situated next to the pump
station. If discharging into a
container then it is necessary
that there is a small amount of
fluid in the container to cool any
hot fluid which could potentially
discharge from the system.
The minimum total volume store size is 50 litres per m² of the collector absorber area.
