The device weighs less than 1 kg, and an installation height of less than 2 meters is recommended.
1. Downloading the eWeLink App: To begin, users need to download the "eWeLink" app, available on both the App Store (for iOS) and Google Play (for Android).
2. Powering On and Initial Pairing: After powering on, the ZBBridge will automatically enter quick pairing mode (Touch) during its first use. The Wi-Fi LED indicator will flash in a cycle of two short and one long flash. If not paired within 3 minutes, the device will exit this mode. To re-enter quick pairing mode, long-press the pairing button for approximately 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi LED indicator resumes the two short and one long flash cycle.
3. Adding the ZigBee Bridge: Once the device is in quick pairing mode, open the eWeLink app, tap the "+" icon, and select "Quick Pairing." Follow the on-screen prompts within the app to complete the pairing process.
4. Compatible Pairing Mode: If quick pairing fails, users can try "Compatible Pairing Mode." To activate this, long-press the pairing button for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi LED indicator shows a cycle of two short flashes and one long flash, then release. Immediately long-press the pairing button again for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi LED indicator flashes quickly. The device will then enter Compatible Pairing Mode. In the app, tap "+" and select "Compatible Pairing Mode." Users will need to select the Wi-Fi SSID "ITEAD-******" and enter the password "12345678," then return to the eWeLink app and tap "Next." Patience is required for the pairing to complete.
5. Adding ZigBee Sub-devices: The ZigBee Bridge can currently add up to 32 sub-devices, with support for more sub-devices planned for future updates. To add a sub-device, set the ZigBee sub-device to its pairing mode and tap "+" on the ZigBee Bridge interface within the eWeLink app.
Currently Supported ZigBee Sub-devices:
| Brands | SONOFF | eWeLink |
|---|---|---|
| Model | BASICZBR3, ZBMINI, S31 Lite zb | SA-003-UK |
| SNZB-01, SNZB-02, SNZB-03, SNZB-04 | SA-003-US | |
| S26R2ZB (TPE/TPG/TPF) |
The device also supports other ZigBee standard protocol products, including wireless door/window sensors, motion sensors, one-gang smart switches, water sensors, and temperature & humidity sensors.
| LED Indicator Status | Status Instruction |
|---|---|
| Blue LED flashes (one long and two short) | Quick Pairing Mode |
| Blue LED flashes quickly | Compatible Pairing Mode (AP) |
| Blue LED keeps on | Device is connected successfully |
| Blue LED flashes quickly once | Unable to discover the router |
| Blue LED flashes quickly twice | Connect to the router but fail to connect to Wi-Fi |
| Blue LED flashes quickly three times | Upgrading |
| Green LED flashes slowly | Searching and adding ... |
1. Deleting ZigBee Sub-devices: To delete all paired sub-devices, long-press the pairing button for 10 seconds until the ZigBee LED signal indicator "flashes twice." Users can also delete individual sub-devices directly through the eWeLink app.
2. Factory Reset: To perform a factory reset, long-press the pairing button for approximately 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi LED indicator changes to a cycle of two short and one long flash, then release. This indicates a successful reset, and the device will re-enter quick pairing mode (Touch). It is recommended to reset the device to factory defaults if you intend to change the Wi-Fi network, then reconnect to the new network.
Q: Why does my device stay "Offline"? A: A newly added device typically takes 1-2 minutes to connect to Wi-Fi and the network. If it remains offline for an extended period, troubleshoot based on the blue Wi-Fi indicator status:
1. Blue Wi-Fi indicator quickly flashes once per second (failed to connect to Wi-Fi):
2. Blue indicator quickly flashes twice per second (connected to Wi-Fi but failed to connect to the server):
