Contact list
You can create nicknames for the contacts in your list.
To enter a nickname

Chatroom
You can join a chatroom discussion to exchange
information such as opinions, comments and
thoughts. A chatroom can be created either by your
service provider or by an individual

Receiving a message
When you receive a new message, the phone beeps
or an icon is shown in the status bar.
Area information
Area information is a type of text message
(for example, a local traffic report) that is sent to
all subscribers in a certain network area. When you
receive an area information message, the mess

automatically appears in the display. You cannot
save area m
essages. Please consult your service
provider for more information about area
information codes.
To turn area information on or off, scroll to
Messaging,

To enter an area information code, scroll to
Messaging

, New code.
Cell information
The cell information channel is used by some
network operators to send messages to their
subscribers within a certain network area.
To turn on the channel, scroll to Messaging
