Getting Started
When you select [A.F.D. Multi] (“A.F.D. MULTI), depending on the disc or source, the beginning of the sound
may be cut off while the optimum mode is automatically selected. To avoid cutting the sound, select [A.F.D.
Standard] (“A.F.D. STD”).
When bilingual broadcast sound is input, [Dolby Pro Logic] (“PRO LOGIC”) and [Dolby PL II Movie] (“PLII
MOVIE”) are not effective.
Depending on the input stream, the surround settings may not be effective.
When you play a Super Audio CD, surround settings are not activated.
You can also select the surround setting in [Surround Setting] of [Audio Settings] (page 60).
For functions other than “BD/DVD,” “FM,” and “AUDIO,” you can check whether [Dolby Pro Logic] (“PRO
LOGIC”) or the DTS Neo:6 mode is activated by pressing DISPLAY repeatedly so that the stream information/
decoding status appears in the front panel display.
